Damn I really do have deep sleeps… my first quake experience and I’m all cosy on my futon dreaming away.

Not a biggie, 5.7 on the Richter scale but apparently buildings shook in Tokyo. Ella got woken up by it - she seems more sensitive to them than I do and she’s been waiting for one to happen which obviously wasn’t that long.

A bigger one struck north Japan at the weekend, with warnings of a tsunami. Apparently people here are a little conscious that there hasn’t been any major tremors or quakes for a while which could indicate a build up in pressure and a much bigger and dangerous one coming…

I need to find out how to quake proof my room really. I can see how the ninja rope aka fire/quake escape rope in my room might come in handy… it just doesn’t look that easy to use.
